Strange Folk Operating Details
Strange Folk Festival is 13-year-running nationally recognized indie craft show known for its eclectic variety of artists, indie makers, designers, and vintage curators. We offer lower fees than similar events around the country for concentrated foot-traffic with attendance in September ranging from 10,000-20,000 annually over the last decade. This is the second year of producing a series of new shows that all received at least 4k RSVPs on Facebook and launched with promising turn-outs. All Strange Folk events offer free admission to the public.
After 3 years of trying out new locations, we finally found the sweetest spot and consistent, progressive neighborhood support for all our outdoor fests. You’ll find them all among the woodland paths and pine-dappled lawns of Carondelet Park, St. Louis City’s third largest park. Having the high ground there means great drainage in case of rain too.
You may express preferences to place your tent next to friends, in or out of the shade, and on or off
